Your Data Stays on Your Machine

AuxMem is designed with privacy as a core principle. When you self-host AuxMem, all your data — documents, photos, videos, knowledge graph — stays entirely on your machine. We never have access to it.

Cloud Subscribers

If you subscribe to our cloud service:

• Your data stays on your machine. Your Neo4j database and media files are stored locally.
• LLM processing: When you use cloud LLM features, the text content being processed is sent to our API, which routes it to the LLM provider. We do not store this content after processing.
• We store: Your account email, license key, usage counters (token counts for billing), and payment information (via Stripe).
• We do NOT store: Your documents, photos, chat history, knowledge graph data, or any personal content.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe handles all payment security.

Analytics

Our website may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand traffic patterns. No personal data is collected. No cookies are used for tracking.

Data Deletion

Self-hosted: Delete your data anytime by removing your local files and Neo4j database.

Cloud subscribers: Email us to delete your account. We will remove all account data within 30 days.
